How does type effectiveness work in Pokemon Champions?

Champions uses the series-standard type chart: super-effective moves deal ×2 damage, not-very-effective ×0.5, immunities ×0. Dual-type Pokemon multiply both — so Rock moves hit a Fire/Flying Pokemon for ×4.

Does this calculator show exact damage numbers?

No — it shows the type effectiveness multiplier only. Exact damage depends on each Pokemon's stats, stat points, nature and the in-game damage formula.

What the multiplier means

Champions keeps the series type chart: ×2 super effective, ×0.5 not very effective, ×0 immunity. A dual defender multiplies both of its types, which is how Rock ends up dealing ×4 to a Fire/Flying target.
