How the Champions team builder works
Pokemon Champions is the competitive battling game where every match is built before the battle starts. This builder mirrors that flow: choose up to six Pokemon for your box, then tune each one — ability, nature, held item, four moves and the new stat-point spread. Ranked Battles are 3v3, so many players build a core of six and pick three per match.
The analysis panel does the boring math for you. The weakness matrix flags attacking types that hurt two or more of your Pokemon while nobody resists them. Coverage gaps list the defending types none of your selected moves can hit super-effectively. Speed tiers order your team by base Speed so you know who is racing the meta's fastest Pokemon.
66 stat points, 32 per stat
Champions removed IVs entirely and turned EV training into Stat Points you allocate from a menu. Each Pokemon gets a budget of 66 stat points with a hard cap of 32 per stat — the builder validates every spread against those caps as you edit, so an illegal spread never sneaks into your plan.
Browse every Pokemon and type
Every Pokemon available in Champions has its own page with base stats, abilities, type weaknesses and Champions movepool — start from the Pokedex hub or the type hub. Planning around a specific threat like Garchomp or Lucario? Each page lists what hits it hardest.
